King Liar: the pseudology of contemporary Indian politics

As an ardent Modibhakt, I was concentrating on the unimaginable development of India under the apt guidance of Modiji in the past few years. I was viewing the report card of Modiji published by Godi Media since 2014, when he came to the forefront of the political spectrum in order to rescue the glorious Hindutva or Sanatana dharma.

My concentration was distracted by the same person, an urban Naxal, Liberandu, member of a tukde tukde gang, whom you people already know from my earlier post: I come to praise Modiji… VIEW HERE ⤡

He came to my house to deliberately irritate me once again. After snatching away my laptop, he made some quick google searches and each time showed the result-screen to me with a crooked grin on his face. The keyword for these searches was “liar Modi”. I was ashamed to see those results. As a proud Hindu deshbhakt, I couldn’t imagine that an honourable man like Modiji was being humiliated by the Google search-engine. See the screenshots below:

All the above search-results designated Hon’ble Modiji in venomous epithets such as “pathological liar”, “serial liar” etc.

My friend saw my reaction and said: “Why do the preceptors of politics need to tell such lies? Do you not recall the Goebbelsian propaganda through the use of big lies (große Lüge) in Nazi Germany?

Do keep in your mind that only religious gurus and political leaders claim the “truth”, underlying which are species of falsehood. No scientist ever claims the truth.

However, this politics of lie cannot be called an error, since the latter consists in an unintentional mistake regarding the ontological status of something; whereas a lie is a deliberate, subjective attempt to interject a simulated construct into others’ minds for satisfying some purpose or another.

It is very difficult for us to properly de-sign-ate the political leaders’ false discursive formation in the guise of assertive “truth-claims” filled with multiple number of assurances and promises (such as the “15 lac promise” or the promise of electrifying all the Indian villages that has been metamorphosed as “Smart City”, the promise of the Indian farmers’ leading prosperous lives etc.), since we, the subjects or receivers of scientific knowledge-claims, tend to form testable hypotheses, which may as well be falsified or verified, all based on the justification or evidence-criterion. There are no absolute claims about “truth” or “falsehood” when it comes to the scientific mind. However, the case with politics is different. Politics operates through “simulations all the way down”!

Consider, for instance, the controversial Demonetization⤡ move in 2016. The demonetization itself, which resulted into massive public harassment or casualties, was in itself an error in the above sense. However, the assurances or promises of eradicating black money, counterfeit money and terrorism were all blatant lies, which were deliberately uttered to create the spectacle or grandeur of a “historic move”, which it was clearly not.

Hence comes the term: ‘pseudology’ (a la Derrida, The “Science/logos of Lying’, deceptions, feigning, grandiose, malingering, factitious disorder, personality disorder, mendacity), which is a type of simulated (simulacra as said by Baudrillard) manipulative fantasy manufactured by the king/queen and his/her aura.

Our Modi, the king Liar, creates the society of the spectacle through his and his party’s temple cum statue and temple nationalism, which involves the creation of mega-structures in the form of ostentatious display at the cost of the tax-payers’ money. The same goes for his massive advertising campaigns, which glorify and eulogize the individual Modiji as the leader of the masses, albeit in the context of a proclaimed democracy (or Modi-crazy??). I view him as a fashion model, who changes his attires at least five times per day, with intellectual anorexia, cat-walking on the ramp of the earth.

Therefore, we call it Pseudologia Fantastica or phantasma. Modi, The King liar, with his photo-fetishist, narcissistic, authoritarian, megalomaniac personality, utilizes his opportunist shoe-lickers to spread such a fabricated world of deceit and delusion in order to manufacture the consent of the governed objectified subjects. The power-play of lying is part of governmentality. All the above search-results show the dissent of the subjects by which the power of the king is asserted. The negation of the polymorphous power-structure is one of the ways in which power gets asserted in the public sphere.”

My friend continued his academic jibber-jabber: “Following Hannah Arendt, Derrida had revealed the historiography of pseudology to understand the power politik. The question is, how do we resist such pseudology through our supposed and contingent truth-claims in the sphere of realpolitik in the context of the post-truth society?

You may see the trajectory from King Lear to King Liar: King Lear was distributing his private property amongst his daughters without heeding the condition of the subaltern at the moment of transferring the inheritance (Russian film director Grigori Kozintsev depicted the condition of the subjects under the King Lear’s rule. This film⤡ is a different type of representation at the moment of royal distribution of wealth).

On the other hand, the King “Liar” is selling the public property of the state to his one or two superrich friends (by scapegoating the first prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru), i.e., the monopoly corporate, without considering the plight of the other 99%. His friends (nothing but lumpen bourgeoisie), viz., all the super-rich willful loan defaulters, are actually discharged jailbirds, who have helped the ruling party to increase its huge amount of assets. I sometimes forget whether he is the PM or the middleman!!

The way to resist such crony-monopoly governance is not the establishment of the violent gun-front, but yielding the non-violent pen-front that instigates civil disobedience or non-cooperation. Collaborators of the lies, as seen in the hyperrreal simulacra, i.e., the BJP IT Cell led by Amit Malavya, should be condemned with courage and perseverance.”

Modiji dares this pen-front.

During these confused hours of the Indian geopolitics, the black (racism unintended) phase of our democracy,

telling the truth itself is a revolutionary act:

The truth of Modiji’s failed state.

The truth of Modiji’s jumlebaazi or the dynamics of his outright fake promises.

Let us build up the confrontation against such harmful politics of mass deception…

Watch the last video! The 2023 one. The audacity to ask for "just 5 years not much" after screwing the Nation for the last 10 years & then saying I will bring the money to your feet. I can't understand how people fall for such blatant lying & drama! pic.twitter.com/umlnQs1elf — Suby #ReleaseSanjivBhatt (@Subytweets) November 16, 2023

An Airforce officer today spoke to me to say that picture of Modi flying in a Airforce Jet without the glass cover 25,000 feet above and waving out, is fake because at that height Modi would have been sucked out by the atmosphere and fallen to the ground. Will PMO deny this? — Subramanian Swamy (@Swamy39) November 27, 2023
