Indian Air Force: DHFL Victims and Recent Chronological Events

Posted on 12th December, 2021

A Tribute to Late General Bipin Rawat, first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS)

Remembering All the Martyrs of Injustice

In the following, we are arranging some strange events (related to the Indian Military) , which may or may not have one-to-one correspondences or necessary connections.

SECTION-I: SALUTE TO THE INDIAN AIR FORCE FROM THE DHFL FD HOLDERS

In the context of the DHFL Scam, we are citing two comprehensive documents for general information:

a. Indian Air Force’s Group Insurance Society has an exposure of Rs 84 crore in the Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited (DHFL) in the form of Fixed Deposits.

b. Although they, according to the reconsideration of the DHFL-CoC (following the quasi-judicial body NCLT’s suggestions), had a chance to get the full amount of their fixed deposits without any haircuts like other investors, refrained from voting for the same, for the sake of all the other DHFL Victims. Salute to them for their sacrifice as they did not want to violate Article 14 of the Indian Constitution.

“It (The NCLT) also suggested that the “ARMY Group” be treated as a separate class, subclass of creditors and be repaid Rs 39 crores of their claims in full, “considering the nature of duties performed by them who are protecting the Nation, sacrificing their lives, difficult working conditions and human service to keep peace of the country it would be appropriate for the members of the CoC to reconsider and to repay their entire admitted claim without any hair cut thereby expressing our deep concern, gratitude and respect to the Army Personnel.” VIEW HERE (As reported on 17th June, 2021 ©CNBC TV18)

Ordinary DHFL FD-Holders had written a letter to the Indian Air Force earlier seeking their kind help in this matter of huge haircut, cf.

We are indebted to the Indian Air Force for their kind cooperation. Inspite of written assurance of full payment, they did not accept the proposal for the sake of thousands of financially abused, victimized DHFL FD Holders!

@IAF_MCC @IAFIndiaOrg @IAFIndia @vayusena @IndianAirforce_ GRATEFUL FOR YOUR KIND SACRIFICE. OBLIGED FOR VOTING AGAINST THE MODIFIED #DHFL-COC RP. #DHFL_COC_SCAM #DHFL_FD_HOLDERS — Rupa Sanyal (@SanyalRupa) June 29, 2021

Therefore, we do not need the expensive election industry, where taxpayers’ money is spoiled. It is better to leave the country to the superrich “private players”, instead of the illiterate, intellectually challenged politicians!!
